After graduating (2008) and working in Portugal (2009), I did two internships in centers of excellence in the UK (NKR Veterinary Specialists in 2010, the University of Liverpool in 2011).

In 2012, I moved to Switzerland, where I began a five-year residency in small animal cardiology at the University of Zurich. Simultaneously, I undertook a Modular Certificate Training (CertAVP - VC) in Scotland at the University of Edinburgh, completed in 2017.

In 2018, I successfully achieved the status ofEBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Cardiology e I graduated from theEuropean College of Veterinary Internal Medicine – Companion Animals(DepECVIM-CA Cardiology).

 

I currently work as a freelance small animal cardiologist between Switzerland and Portugal, providing cardiology services to selected small animal clinics.
