Who I am
After graduating in 2008 and working in Portugal in 2009, I completed two internships at centres of excellence in the UK: NKR Veterinary Specialists in 2010 and the University of Liverpool in 2011.
In 2012, I moved to Switzerland to begin a five-year residency in small animal cardiology at the University of Zurich. During this time, I undertook Modular Certificate Training (CertAVP – VC) at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, completing it in 2017.
In 2018, I successfully obtained EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Cardiology status, graduating from the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine – Companion Animals (DipECVIM-CA Cardiology).
I currently work as a freelance small animal cardiologist, providing cardiology services to selected clinics in Switzerland and Portugal.
Further details of my academic background, scientific publications, professional experience and professional affiliations can be found on my LinkedIn profile.
